Join us for this EXCITING opportunity. Blue Star Mothers NJ-5, a nonprofit organization that provides support to our troops and families while promoting patriotism, is asking for our help.
In the last two months, 1,500 soldiers in our area have been deployed overseas. Blue Star Mothers NJ-5 would like our assistance in collecting items for deployment packages for soldiers from New Jersey. They are preparing a shipment to send in May. Since they rely on the community around the county for support, they would appreciate any help our school could offer.
A couple of specific items that they would like Brigantine Community School to collect for the soldiers are the following:
Men Black Crew Socks
Granola or protein bars
Drink mix singles
Please join us in helping this worthy cause. Your child can bring in items to their classrooms and dropped off at Ms. Benchoff’s room (251) Ms. Karyn Benchoff will collect and distribute all items to Blue Star Mothers NJ-5 by April 30, 2024.
